The ENGAGED Youth Project Officially Launched in Bergen

In March 2025, our research project was officially launched in Bergen, Norway. The Kick-off brought together a passionate and committed consortium of partners from the United Kingdom, Portugal, Spain, Romania and Norway.

During the kick-off meeting the consortium laid the groundwork for the project’s collaborative efforts, aimed at exploring and strengthening youth civic and political engagement across Europe. Central to the project is an investigation into how young people develop democratic identities, build trust in institutions, and participate in shaping their communities.

The event was marked by a strong sense of shared purpose and enthusiasm, setting a promising tone for the work ahead. We look forward to sharing the ENGAGED Youth project’s progress and findings as the research unfolds.
